what happens to the copper sulphate solution when you dip an iron nail into it?

the blue colour of cupper sulphate changed to green when we did iron nail in it. it happens because. iron is more reactive than cupper so it displace cupper from solution.....

Hola there..
When iron is dipped in copper sulphate solution then the iron displaces copper from copper sulphate solution and the copper gets deposited on the iron and solution becomes iron Sulphate
CuSO4 + Fe –› FeSO4 + Cu
(blue) (Grey) (green). (brown)
The colour of CuSO4 blue also gets changed to green bcz FeSO4 is of green colour.
