when wind speed increases, air particles are moving away from a particular place, and hence the air pressure decreases.

If the speed of the wind increases.....the pressure decreases and if the speed decreases the pressure increases.
They are inversely proportional to each other.
For eg.
Two balloons are tied to a string equally filled up with air. When the air is blown between the two ballons ....they move towards each other.
This is because.....when the air is blown between the balloons the speed of the wind there increases and the pressure decreases. The pressure on the sides of the balloons is higher....which pushes them towards each other.
