What happens to the rain water when it falls on land?

When the rain water is falling from the sky then in its path there are several.dust present and its gets totally dirt. Also when they reach the land of the earth they fill up the holes which are present on the ground,they wet up the dry land,they reach the plants root which becomes green and provide us fresh air and also they make our sorrounding cool and make us feel comfortable especially in the summer season.

Here is the answer :

When the rain water falls on the land it gets absorbed by the ground/soil and settles at the water table and changes into ground water. Also sometimes trees and plants absorbs the water for their own purposes. In some cases the rain water flows to the lower region and finally reaches the river and then the ocean.
