The resistance of a conductor is inversely proportional to its area of cross section.
So resistivity will decrease with increase in cross section
So resistivity will decrease with increase in cross section

When the amount of current flowing at constant energy increases,
the area of cross section also increases, resulting in decrease in
resistance.
