what happens to the resistivity of a resistor if its length is doubled and area of cross section is halved? need the answer quickly....please give only reasonable answer.....

There will be no change in resistivity because it does not depend upon length and area of cross section of resistor. It only depends upon nature of material because it is a property of a material.
