What happens to the value of current when a number of resistors are connected in series in a circuit

As we know V=IR
thus I=V/R
let n no. of resistors are connected in series.
net resistance is nR.
but I is inversely proportional to R.
Thus I is reduced to I/n...........hope it helps...
