what happens to the volume of cube if length of its edges become double? and half?

If double☺☺☺☺☺
Let the edge of the cube be x
So,Volume of the cube =x^3
Edge=2x
Volume =8x^3 (it becomes 8 times the real volume)
If half ☺☺☺☺☺
Edge =x/2
Volume =x^3/8(it becomes 1/8of the real volume)
