Ans.- Since we know that charging of a bodydepends upon transfer of electrons. So, if a bodybecomes negatively charged it will gain electrons that is its mass will increase and if a body becomes positively charged it loses electrons hence its mass will decrease.
I.... hope... this... helps....

The weight of the body when it is charged positive:

  • When a body is charged, electrons are either lost or gained.
  • The body receives electrons when it becomes negatively charged, and it loses electrons when it becomes positively charged.
  • Since we know that electrons have mass, i.e. 9.1*10-31 kg, even if it is very small, it exists.
  • As a result, if the body gains or loses electrons, the multiple of this mass is also gained or lost.
  • A body loses mass when it becomes positively charged, and gains mass when it becomes negatively charged.
