it slowly slowly stops burning...
as due to absence of supporter of combustion...i.e oxygen...

A lit candle needs to draw oxygen from the air in order to continue burning. If you limit the amount of air available, the candle's flame eventually goes out once it uses up all the oxygen..
Thus, oxygen inside the glass jar will decrease and it gets filled with carbon dioxide, and eventually the candle's flame will Extinguish.
