Zinc will react with dilute sulphuric acid to form zinc sulphate salt and hydrogen gas. The reaction is given below:

              Zn + H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + H2Zn + H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + H2

Zinc is more reactive than hydrogen and it displace hydrogen from dilute sulphuric acid zinc react with dilute sulphuric acid to form zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas is evolved
