b. Excess amount of co2 is passed through lime water?

(a) There is a formation of Calcium carbonate with water.

Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ——> CaCO3 + H2O

(b) There is a formation of Calcium Hydrogencarbonate.

CaCO3 + H2O ——> Ca(HNO3)
