When the ray of light falls on the surface of a plane mirror it reflects(divergent ray and form the same angle as the angle of ray of incidence (the light falling on the surface).

Answer:
the normal ray is formed on imaginary line at 90°.when an object is kept in front of mirror the reflection will be on same direction as they are kept in 90°.so angle of incidence is 0 if angle of incidence is 0 then the angle of reflection will be also 0 as the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection(law of reflection)
