Answer:A strong Acid and a weak base always gives an acidic salt and water.
If the acid and base both are strong or both are weak the salt is NEUTRAL
If one of the constituent ( either base or an acid ) is strong it would give a basic salt or acidic salt along with water.
EX:
strong acid and strong base gives a neutral salt
HCl + NaOH-----> NaCl + H20
strong acid and weak base gives a basic salt
HCl+ NH4OH-----> NH4Cl + H20

Hey User!!
Here's your answer.
✨Those bases which are less ionised when dissolved in water, are known as weak bases.
Example : NH4OH (aq) -- NH4+ (aq) + OH- (aq)
✨ Those acids which ionised more or less completely when dissolved in water are called strong acids.
Example : HCl (aq) --> H+ (aq) + Cl- (aq)
✨REACTION IS IN THE ATTACHMENT✨
✨Formation basically results in formation of salts ✨
Hope it helps!!
