Hey mate !!!
alkali metal include alkali metal include:-
hydrogen
lithium
sodium
Potassium
etc
when they react with are they form corresponding oxide:-
for example:-
Lithium oxide li2O
sodium oxide Na2O
potassium oxide :- K2O.
as they are inflamable so in the presence of air started burning.
hope it helps :D
thanks

Here is your answer :
______________________________
Alkali metals : Metals like Lithium, Potassium, Sodium are called as Alkali metals. Alkali metals are high reactive. They react very fast with hydrogen and Oxygen.
~ when they react with oxygen then form Alkali oxides.
~ These alkali oxides are usually white in colour.
~ When they dissolve in water they form Alkali hydroxide.
~ When sodium reacts with oxygen then the following reaction takes place :
Sodium + Oxygen ----> Sodium oxide
4 Na + O2 ---------> 2Na2O
~ When potassium reacts with Oxygen then the following reaction takes place :
Potassium + Oxygen ----> Potassium oxide
4K + O2 -----> 2K2O
~ When Lithium reacts with oxygen then the following reaction takes place:
Lithium + Oxygen -------> Lithium oxide
4Li + O2 --------> 2Li2O
