When an Aqueous solution of the sodium sulphate is mixed with the Barium Chloride solution, then they will form precipitate of the Barium sulphate and Sodium Chloride.
Reaction will be,
BaCl₂ + Na₂SO₄ ---------- 2NaCl + BaSO₄
BaCl₂ = Barium Chloride
Na₂SO₄ = Sodium Sulphate
NaCl = Sodium Chloride
BaSO₄ = Barium Sulphate

This Reaction is the Double displacement reaction.
It may be defined as the Reaction in which the radicals are exchanged. For example, Cl of Barium chloride and SO₄²⁻ of Sodium sulphate is exchanged to form a new products.
Hope it helps.
