What happens when both positive and negative terminal of a cell are connected to the same terminal of a bulb​

if you connect both terminals of a cell to the same point that's the same as short-circuiting the cell . consequences of that vary .the cell might simply get a bit warm from the rapid discharge . something in the path between the terminals might melt.the cell might rupture and catch fire.
