What happens when calcium oxide react s with water

➡ (CaO) + H2O ----->CA(OH)2 + Q


➡so when calcium oxide react with water it form calcium hydroxide

➡the given reaction is an exothermic reaction

➡heat energy is liberated

➡so v write +Q in the RHS of equation

calcium oxide reacts with water to give calcium hyderoxide which is also called as slaked lime and heat is release it is also called as exothermic reaction
