the camphor state directly change into solid to gas
by the process of sublimation not forming liquid substance

If a camphor is kept in air it will evaporate . As it is a sublimable substance it change directly from solid to gas without forming the liquid state because it takes the kinetic energy present in the air. so after a few days we are not able to see the camphor.
