When blue Copper Sulphate crystals(CuSO4.5H2O)are heated, the blue coloured crystals turn white and becomes a white amorphous powder and, water vapour is evolved.
The chemical reaction is---
CuSO4.5H20 ---> CuSO4 + 5H20(g)
(blue) (white)
