When heated, the water molecules in the crystals vaporizes and thus the colour of the crystals change into grey-white from blue.
The hydrated crystal is known as copper sulphate pentahydrate as 1 molecule of CuSO4 contains 5 molecule of water. After heating it becomes anhydrous copper sulphate. When u moisten it,it again becomes hydrated copper sulphate and thus have blue colour.

IF FOUND USEFUL RATE IT AND MARK AS BRAINLIEST

when copper sulphate crystals taken in a test tube and heated they turn into a white amorphous solid n droplets of water r formed at the mouth of the test tube.
when we moisten the crystals they turn into blue crystals again.
