When dilute Sulphuric acid is poured on a zinc plate, Zinc Sulphate is formed along with Hydrogen gas.

We can test the hydrogen gas by taking a burning matchstick near it, and the gas will ignite with a pop sound.

The chemical reaction for it is Zn + H2SO4→ ZNSO4 +H2
