Pure water can't conduct electricity through it.But the acidic water can easily conduct the electricity. This process is known as the electrolysis of the water.
In this electrolysis process, the water molecules are seperated into the hydrogen gas and the oxygen gas.
In simple words this is a water decomposition process with the help of the electricity.
