What happens when few drops of ethanoic acid is aaded tp solid?

depends on what kind of solid you are talking abt. in general, ethanoic or acetic acid is non-corrosive to most solids.

When ethanoic acid or Ch3Cooh is reacted with Na2Co3 or sodium carbonate then brisk effervescence is produced and Co2 gas is evolved . That is:
2Ch3Cooh + Na2Co3 = 2Ch3CooNa +Co2 + H2O
