It forms Ferrous Hydroxide. (Fe(OH)2).

When Ferrous Hydroxide. (Fe(OH)2) is further dissolved in Sodium Hydroxide Solution (NaOH).

Observations:-

No Observation Change is Observed.

Green Precipitate is found like earlier reaction.

Conclusion:-

Ferrous Hydroxide (Fe(OH)2) is insoluble in excess of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH).
