_________________________________________

REACTION -

Pb(NO)3 + HCl - - - - - - >H(NO)3+ PbCl

When lead nitrate is put in hydrochloric acid it forms lead chloride and nitric acid.

It is a double displacement reaction.

Good question :-

This is a type of Double-Displacement Reaction.

The reaction in which two species exchange their ions and one of the product formed is insoluble is called Double-Displacement Reaction.

It is also known as precipitation reaction.

Let ,come to the topic.

#when lead nitrate put Hydrochloric acid.

Reaction:-

Pb(NO3)2 + 2HCl → 2HNO3 + PbCl2

In this reaction Lead chloride(PbCl2) is wht.precipitate and Nitric acid is formed.

hence, it is a double - displacement reaction because the insoluble precipitate is formed and spices exchange their ions.
