What happens when Lead nitrate solution combines with potassium iodide?

However the iodine and lead ions will form PbI2 precipitation, which is yellow. There will be a precipitation reaction.Potassium iodide solution reacts with Lead nitrate solution to form a yellow precipitate of Lead iodide and a solution of Potassium nitrate.
