Indicator is one of the most useful chemical compound which changes it's colour according to the acidic or the basic solution.
There are many indicator compounds present in the world, but the methyl orange is one of the most used chemical indicators.
It turns into red colour in any acidic solution. And the curd also have lactic acid as it's composition, that's why methyl orange also turns red into the curd.
