What happens when MnO2 reacts with dilute Hydrochloric acid? Write the reaction involved? If it ids redox reaction then name the substance oxidised, reduced, oxidising agent or reducing agent.

When MnO2 reacts with dilute HCl it will form MnCl2 and water and a little or negligible amount of heat is evolved....

Reaction:- MnO2+dil.HCl= MnCl2+H2O+Heat...

Here,Hydrogen is oxidised.

Manganese is reduced....

MnO2 is oxidising agent...

HCl is reducing agent....
