When Barium Carbonate decomposes its pH increases.As we know that when pH increases hydronium ions decreases.

So, when hydronium ion decreases it becomes acidic in nature.

Therefore, it is acidic in nature.

We can check it by putting universal indicator in it, it turns red in colour.

Result:- It is acidic in nature.
