If you acidify sodium carboate it decomposes to water and carbon dioxide. In which case, nothing at all will happen with the mixure of phenol water and sodium ions that remains. If you mix phenol with an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate, thephenol will lose a proton and become sodiumphenoxide.
