HELLO FRIEND,
When RBC and plant cell are kept in a hypotonic solution, they are likely to swell up because of the medium surrounding the water have the higher water concentration than the cell. So the water will enter the cell due to the process of exosmosis.
EXOSMOSIS - when the water enters the cell
and
ENDOSMOSIS - when the water moves out of the cell.
in this case exosmosis is likely to happen, i just wrote endosmosis for your better understanding.
