when heating element is made of copper in electric iron then firstly copper reaches to high temperature and can be melt easily because the melting point of copper is too low as compare with tungsten or nichrome .tungsten and nichrome have this ability because they are allow and their property are very good due to alloying

Answer:

Note - this part also contains explanation.

If the heating elements of electric iron made of nichrome will be replaced by copper then the current will not be converted into heat because it will offer very low resistance and hence, will not glow. Secondly its melting point is also low as compared with nichrome.
