When we mix soil in water, it does'nt gets dissolved. Because, soil is immiscible in water. It is a heterogenous mixture.
when soil dissolved in water, the particles of the soil settle down. And their is no change.

AaravDeo: why bubbles appear in the water ??

When we mix soil with water, we create soil profile, that is, to know the different layers of soil.
1) On the top there will be humus (Horizon O)
2) Then, Topsoil (Horizon A)
3) Eluviated Horizon ( Horizon E)
4) Subsoil ( Horizon B)
5) Parent Material ( Horizon C)
6) Rocks and Gravel ( Horizon R).

Hope this helps.. :D
