Opening the bottle of perfume, molecules get mixed with the air. Particles in the perfume get mixed with the particles of air as well as spread with reaching at the distances. Diffusion is the process involved in it that causes.

Perfume smells good or bad based on different perspectives. Smelled perfume are mixed with body chemistry in user and heated to the body temperature.
