What happens when zinc granules are treated with HCl

When zinc granules are treated with HCl, zinc replaces hydrogen from HCl and forms ZnCl2 and liberates out hydrogen. This so happens as zinc is more reactive than hydrogen.

It also liberates out heat. So it is an exothermic reaction

when zinc granules treated with HCL then displacement reaction take place and hydrogen gas is emitted with a pop sound from the HCL and the product is formed ie ZNCL2...
