Answer: when zinc rod is dipped in copper sulphate solution then zinc sulphate + copper will formed.
Znic(zn) + copper sulphate(cuso4) - zinc sulphate(znso4) + copper(cu)
Here zinc will oxidisied as it loose 2 electrons and copper will reduced as it gain 2 electrons.
REdox reaction with evolution of heat.
And wheen cupper rod is dipped in zinc sulphate then no reaction occur because zn is more reactive than copper.
