India is a vast country having many languages ,religions and regions.India had emerged as an independent nation after a painful,long struggle.Soon after independent several princely states became parts of the country.The constitution declared India as a union states .The word fedelarism was deliberately avoided by the framers of the constition because of the diversity of India in many respects.However the Indian Union is based on the principles of federalism
