The government has assumed the ability of the food grains with the help of a carefully designed to Security System the system involves the maintenance of a buffer stock of food grains and the distribution of these food among the poorest section of the society with the help of the public distribution system.

1) Antyodaya Anna Yojana

• launched in December 2008 creates the families below poverty level

• under this scheme one chronic of the poorest among the BPL family covered under this targeted Public Distribution system were identified

• the quantity of the food grains were engaged from 25 to 35 kg with effect from April 2002

2). National food for work program

• launched in November 2004 it creates to 150 most backward district of the country

• its object is to intensify the generation of supplementary wage employment
