the speaker is the poem is begger one day he went out side goes beg to door to door of the house suddenly he saw a choriot he thought in mind he gave something to my live goes better he thought and suddenly king came to begger and asking he beg begger gave a one gold corn to king take and went and went of begger go in to home and saw the bag he shocked to see a gold coin

The poem opens with a begger going on his daily rounds.On that particular day the beggar sees a golden chariot coming towards him. God disguised as the king of kings was seated in the chariot.

Truly speaking ,the beggar in the poem , thought that the king of kings i.e.,god, would give him something. On the contrary , against his wish ,the beggar was surprised to see the king begging.

In this poem , Tagore conveys the idea of the value of charity , love and sacrifice.it is a message stating that true love if God lies in sacrifice..
