Sensory nerves are a network of nerve fibers or neurons that are responsible for perception and stimulation in our body. These are a type of afferent nerves and are so able to carry out these functions.
Sensory nerves are responsible for transmitting information from all organs to the brain and back. If by any chance this network of nerves fails to respond then the sensations and information may not be carried out to and fro the brain.
Our body will not be able to detect pain, heat, pressure, stimulation or even communicate with our brain and other body organs for stimulation and response to stimulation.
