India would be independent since way back only if British didn't come to India...and many of the people would have got employment and infrastructure facilities....India might have developed way since back the Britishers came to India....there would be no income discrimination or income problem

If britishers hadn't came to India Indians couldn't have developed to that much extent that they are now and also we could not get a lesson that power lies in unity, there would be kings and dukes no freedom only monarchy and India splitted into various kingdoms.
