You go back to the future, and you see that not much has changed. You don’t remember ever owning an iPhone. You dig through your bookshelf, and find an old iPhone that you never remembered having.
By giving yourself an iPhone, you created an alternate reality where he is now happier, being in the possession of an iPhone. Your old reality is unaffected and still exists, and so are you, although you are now stuck in your new one.
Nothing bad happens in this scenario, either. The alternate you would still go back in time, albeit for different reasons: for example, he might’ve wanted to find out who gifted him the phone, until he realized it was him all along, and history repeats itself into an infinite loop.

In the course of earth’s history the unknown far outweighs the known. Most of our planets history and creatures are still surfacing as scientists and archaeologists explore. The explorations and studies have shown us that many species of animals and plants have perished or disappeared through out time. Whether it is human influence or a natural phenomenon, we have part in rescue or destroy. My biggest wish if I could turn back time is return to the days the earth was still green and flourishing. Prevent the elimination of all bio species that existed and keep earth safe through awareness and love.

The giant squid and the whales are evidence that the sea mammals grew to monstrous size and can stay living if the conditions were optimal.
