After reading the political views of the Lilliputians, we get to understand that their diminutive size is indicative of their intellect. The selection of ministers on the basis of the feats they perform, in fact. is a satire on how the political leaders are incapable for the role they are chosen. The point of division of Tramecksans and Slamecksans also reflects their shallow understanding as they grow matters of least importance out of proportions. Notwithstanding their size and power, the Lilliput emperor grows over ambitious and tries to destroy Blefuscu displays their love for power and greed. Though their ingenuity is reflected in how they work in unison to tackle the threat of 'mountain man' their political standing is a mockery of the contemporary political systems at play.
