What India's Foreign Policy Priorities mean for the Youth

India, since it's independence in 1947 has held a very neutral policy in terms of global diplomacy. While the UK and the US wanted India is their 'camp' post World War II and Soviet Union wanted India in their Camp, the country fiercely stayed neutral. Even though it was a socialist country and the US tried many times to change that, they could not succeed.
This early neutrality has played well for India in the long run, where they are in extremely good relations with counties like Iran and the US and Russia and the UK at the same time. Despite diplomatic pressure, it has stood steadfast.
It's policy, in the meanwhile has also been to promote Indian Culture and Food throughout the world with the help of Bollywood. This has greatly helped them to build a solid soft power among many countries of the world with their introduction of YOGO, Bollywood music and Dance and Indian good available everywhere now.
The Indian government also relied heavily on it's diaspora of over 25 million in countries all over the world. Today Indians are in top positions in the UK and US and are close to the government and intertwined within the local economies.
The past 70 years of government's increasing work on this has made the life of today's Youth of India far more easier.
Today, India's Youth speaks English and is living in a global village which has a soft image of India and everyone wants to work with them. People from all over the world and some of the largest companies are trying to hire Indians and set up factories in India.
When Indians go abroad they are treated and earn a lot of money which in turn, results in significant international remittance.
Due to the country's unique neutral position, the Indian youth can study with equal ease in vastly different countries such as the US and Russia and can set up businesses in the UK and Iran at the same time, something which is not always easy for people from other countries to do so.
It's great relations with Arab/Middle Eastern countries have meant, thousands of young people go over there to make money and settle.

Recently, Narendra Modi, the country’s wildly popular prime minister has been going all over the world, meeting world leaders and inviting them to visit India and invest more in the country.

Narendra modi’s trips have paid good dividends as countries from Russia, Iran, USA, France, UK are all investing hundreds of billions of dollars in both services and industrial/manufacturing projects creating tends of thousands of jobs every year for the youth -both skilled and unskilled. Even Apple, the world’s largest company by market capitalization has recently set up an assembly plant in Bangaluru and will be making iphone SE models in India for the first time to tap into the local market and compete with Chinese brands and Samsung. The possibilities for the youth in India today are endless with extreme prosperity the only future they can expect
