Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x = 0.433333........

Now multiply 10 from x

10x = 4.33333......

10x = 4 + 0.3333.....

( Now let y = 0.3333..... ------(1)

10y = 3.3333...... -------(2)

(2) - (1) => 9y = 3

y = 1/3 )

10x = 4 + 1/3

10x = 13/3

x = 13/30

Answér :

13/30

Solution :

Here ,

We need to convert 0.4333.... in the form of p/q where q ≠ 0 .

Let X = 0.4333.... -----------(1)

Now ,

Multiplying both sides of eq-(1) by 10 , we get ;

=> 10 × X = 10 × 0.4333....

=> 10X = 4.333.... -------------(2)

Now ,

Multiplying both sides of eq-(2) by 10 , we get ;

=> 10 × 10X = 10 × 4.333....

=> 100X = 43.333.... -------------(3)

Now ,

Subtracting eq-(2) from (3) , we get ;

=> 100X - 10X = 43.333... – 4.333....

=> 90X = 39

=> X = 39/90

=> X = 13/30

=> 0.4333.... = 13/30

Hence ,

Required answer is 13/30 .
