what is 1 radian? explain it in minimum 50 words with example
Answers
Answer:
Radian describes the plane angle subtended by a circular arc as the length of the arc divided by the radius of arc.
One radian is the angle subtended at the center of a circle by an arc that is equal in length to the radius of circle..
EX:-a right angle is pi/ 2 radians

For a measure of ionizing radiation, see Rad (unit). For other uses, see Radian (disambiguation).
The radian is the SI unit for measuring angles, and is the standard unit of angular measure used in many areas of mathematics. The length of an arc of a unit circle is numerically equal to the measurement in radians of the anglethat it subtends; one radian is just under 57.3 degrees (expansion at OEIS: A072097). The unit was formerly an SI supplementary unit, but this category was abolished in 1995 and the radian is now considered an SI derived unit.[1]

An arc of a circle with the same length as the radius of that circle subtends an angle of 1 radian. The circumference subtends an angle of 2πradians.
The symbol rad can be used to represent the radian (for example, an angle of 1.3 radians would be written as 1.3 rad), but this is often omitted, especially in mathematical writing.
