Question :-

4 \frac{1}{2} + 1 \frac{3}{5}

Solution :-

4 \frac{1}{2} + 1 \frac{3}{5} =  \frac{9}{2} +  \frac{8}{5}

LCM of 2 and 5 is = 10

Now,

 \frac{9}{2} ×  \frac{5}{5} =  \frac{45}{10}

 \frac{8}{5} ×  \frac{2}{2} =  \frac{16}{10}

So, Now we have to add  \frac{45}{10} and  \frac{16}{10}

 \frac{45 + 16}{10} =  \frac{61}{10}

Exact Form :-  \frac{61}{10}

Decimal Form :- 6.1

In Mixed Fraction :- 6 \frac{1}{10}
