Relative density ( RD ) = density of substance / density of water.

RD of Silver = 10.8 & density of water = 10^3kg/m^3.

Substituting the values in the formula :

10.8 = density of Silver /10^3 kg/m^3.

Transposing the terms,

Density of Silver = 10.8 × 10^3 kg/m^3, =10800 kg/m^3

Hey mate....
here's your answer.

1. Relative density of substance is defined as the ratio of density of substance to the density of water.

2.we know that relative density of substance
=density of substance
________________
density of water
= density of silver= relative density *density of water
=10.8 *1000kg/m3
=10800 kg/m3 .

hope it helps you.. :)
