BALANCED CHEMICAL EQUATION MEANS NUMBER OF ATOMS ARE EQUAL ON BOTH SIDES OF CHEMICAL EQUATIONS i.e.ON PRODUCTS DIDES AS WELL AS REACTANTS SIDES

WE SHOULD BALANCE CHEMICAL EQUATION TO MAKE THEM FOLLOE LAW OF CONSERVSTION OF MASS.

A chemical equation which has equal number of atoms of each element in the reactants and products is called a balanced chemical equation.

The chemical equation must be balanced. If we do not balance the equation, it would be creating or losing atoms. This will be against the law of conservation of mass. According to law of conservation of mass, total mass of the reactants before the chemical reaction must be equal to the total mass of products after the chemical reaction. In other words, atoms can neither be created nor destroyed during the chemical reaction. Therefore, the number of atoms of each kind in the reactants must be equal to those in the products.
