Circle graphs are most useful when comparing parts of a whole or total. Bar graphs also make comparisons easily. Unlike most circle graphs, bar graphs compare exact amounts.

The bar graph shows the same results but in a different format. The “parts” in the circle graph are represented by bars on the bar graph.
